Introduction...
We greet you brethren, family, friends, and visitors, in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord and our Savior. We are thankful that you’ve decided to visit with us here at The Labor of Love Outreach Ministry. We are praying that here, you find what you need in these people of God.
How is it that we truly know God?
It is ONLY by LOVE that we have come to know God through His Son Jesus Christ and the Gospel He preached while here on earth. While we too, are the sons and daughters of God the Father, Jehovah, we fully recognize that Jesus has been raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Ghost and is now seated on the right hand of God the Father, maker of Heaven and Earth. His duties are special and specific; to come and JUDGE both the living and the dead while seeking out the Church (people) without blemish, spot, or wrinkle (sin).
We "walk by faith and not by sight" here at The Labor of Love Outreach Ministries where OUTREACH is our primary focus. Building another corner church is not necessarily our immediate vision. Our first quest is to become fully acquainted with the Word of God and become strong witnesses by our daily work. In doing so, we aim to impress upon others the Joy of living life for Christ. We realize help is needed in Homeless shelters, drug rehabs, hospices and even prisons and we will do our part to bring the Gospel wherever the Lord leads.
We practice what we TEACH. Interactive Bible studies offer everyone an effective means of learning the Bible and Biblical principles together, just like Jesus did with His disciples. We do not practice Bible Study Monologues. Here at The Labor of Love Outreach Ministries ours is a dialogue and everyone is welcomed and encouraged to participate.
Sunday Morning Worship and The Message are governed by the Spirit of God. A minimal outline is provided of how we hope to conduct the service but WE are always open to the WILL of God and beckon His presence by Vocal Corporate praise and partition of prayer. Prophecy is a recognized gift and necessary aspect of the work of this ministry. This, in addition to the Full Five Part Ministry, is well accepted and recognized here at The Labor of Love Outreach Ministries. For clarity please read and study:
Our recognition of the Sabbath as outlined by the schedule of times listed on the "Contact Us" tab is supported by the Old Testament. Sunday was reserved for worship due to pagan practices long before we where born, however, with all the information made available to us (today) we aim to walk as much like Christ as we possibly can. This includes our swine and alcohol free diet and overall better health practices as we recognize our bodies are the living temples of Christ. While we do not condemn, we certainly encourage the discouragement of ALL unhealthy living as per the scriptures. This means simply that we strive to live a sanctified life for the Glory of God. If Jesus didn't do it, we (too) shall try to match His earthly walk by sacrificing carnality whenever possible.
While we welcome everyone to come as you are, we do encourage you to change, evolve, or (basically) to grow. We realize that takes time but we are here to care for you and help you in any way we can to become your BEST self for the Glory of God. We do not expect you to be burdened with all the same faults as time progresses. We endeavor to lead you to a life which is more satisfying and pleasing in the sight of God. You will discover that a life without sin and similar hinderances will afford you many new fruitful opportunities as God has promised to His children of obedience. We are not strict or condemning but supportive unto your betterment which means personal commitment to self evaluation and change, (growth).
We strive to enter in at the strait gate (Luke 13:24), which means we strive to live a righteous life that is full of joy and God's blessing and free of sin. Always remember, that Jesus would rather us Hot; meaning 100% for Him or Cold; meaning 100% for Satan. He promised to 'spit' us out for being Lukewarm which is, say, 70% (more or less) in either direction. To put it better, 99.5% just won't do. I'm afraid you must pass this test with 100%...
